Essential Responsibilities

Scientist – GE Applied Science Laboratory, based in Beijing, China. Essential Functions (Responsibilities): • Work in close collaboration with GE Healthcare Technologies team and major research site to develop new magnetic resonance imaging applications. • Support MR user educational program. • Combine knowledge of MR imaging physics and clinical needs to improve specification and design of MR data acquisition, image processing and visualization. • Evaluate and extend new concepts; provide innovations which can be developed into product advantages for MR.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Ph.D. (or Ph.D. in progress) in Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. • Demonstrated record of innovation in MR physics research, development of new pulse sequences, reconstruction methods, or applications of MR imaging. • 3+ years experience in MR imaging research or closely related field (may include graduate work). • Good English language oral and written communication skills
