Role Summary/Purpose

GE is an equal opportunity employer, offering a great work environment, challenging career opportunities, professional training and competitive compensation.Opportunity to join a newly formed team for our Magnet production facility that will start in Beijing and moved to Tianjin China in the next 1-2 years. In this role, the AME position will work the global team to develop and specify leading technologies around the storage, transport and recovery of Cryogens that are used to fill electromagnet for our MRI systems. The primary focus of this role is to ensure a world class mfg facility is created and a process technology roadmap is maintained.

Essential Responsibilities

• Take ownership of identifying the technical strategy and engineering specifications of advanced electromagnet mechanical assembly and fabrication processes. Solutions need to cover the new facility needs as well as productivity improvements for existing facilities. • Work closely with the product and operations team to ensure key milestones of any transfer activities are met through technical risk retirements, robust equipment acceptance testing and optimization. • Drive improved product quality by identifying manufacturing issues, developing advanced manufacturing cost-effective solutions, and overseeing successful implementation into production. • Develop and maintain a productivity technology roadmap for continual improvement of manufacturing processes, driving higher capabilities and capacities. • Support AME initiatives with wide business impact and ensure to share best practices across the Global Supply Chain • Drive AME initiatives across sites while providing business-wide impact and enabling sharing of best practices across the Global Supply Chain • Ensure regulatory compliance through Qualification & Validation. Responsible for ensuring rigor in determining processes requiring validation, development of plans and analysis criteria, execution and final analysis and acceptance • Drive continuous simplification of QMS methods and their applications by working with cross-functional team including Operations and Quality Assurance. Work with the facilities and maintenance team to implement change and ensure the required product capacity is in place before it is required by customer demand Quality Specific Goals: 1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position 2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines 3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required 4. Knowledge and understanding of document control, design transfer, verification, validation, acceptance activity, DMR, DHR and electronic signature requirements to ensure that product, equipment, tools, processes, software, training and documentation meet requirements.

Qualifications/Requirements

1. B.S. Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related technical degree and 5 years’ experience.2. Ability to identify and lead manufacturing launch projects with strong technical and project management skills for both current production and NPI.3. Ability to build a business case to support proposed capital equipment projects.4. Demonstrated troubleshooting, analytical and planning skills5. Willing to travel internationally and domestically up to 25%.6. Ability to work independently.7. Demonstrated strong communication skills (written and verbal) to all levels of the organization8. Ability to identify and implement Best Practices

Desired Characteristics

1. MS/PHD in technical concentration/field2. 10+ years industrial experience in Manufacturing Engineering3. 6-sigma DMAIC & DFSS certified 4. Domain expertise with cryogen delivery system design or in general cryogens.5. Experiences in Process Intensive manufacturing6. Product and Process Development experience 7. Solid working knowledge of GEHC QMS procedures for GMP 8. Experienced developing tools and templates9. Demonstrated experience owning production processes / growing capability in yield and quality10. Experience working with global teams
