Critical Deliverables Business：

· Conformance to Environmental, Health and Safety codes of Ingredion and local regulatory requirement · Responsible for food safety compliance management and timely / accurate reporting against both Ingredion and local regulatory standards.

· Responsible for process capability management and improvement by supervision and review on-site process, process issues trouble shooting guidance to front line team and procedures solution providing.

· Responsible for driving manufacturing successful rate, reaction efficiency improvement, first pass compliance improvement for both flash dryer, drum dryer and blending line.

· Responsible for production veracity and traceability through the supervision of work order and batch production record.

· Responsible for off code product control, handling and management.

· Principle leader to control and manage product recipes, process parameters, internal control spec and process flow chart.

· Production-quality interface and cooperate with other functions to well maintain in-process quality and investigate in-process related quality issues, identify root cause and implement corrective action.

· Principle leader of drum products to improve process capability and product quality consistency.

· Participate in new process introduction including design, review, and execution and commissioning and make sure owner’s inputs well covered.

· Support production supervisor for new product launch including process parameters exploration, on-site trial, documentation and training.

· Capable of understanding deeply the various elements of process design and operation, with a high level of curiosity and challenge.

· Maintain an atmosphere of teamwork and joint accountability with other departments, recognizing mutual goals, accountabilities, and needs as well as build consensus.

· As production training leader to drive production technical, operational, testing and troubleshooting capability development through master plan execution.

· Support Production supervisor to build associates career ladder and continuously enhance their capability and engagement.

· Utilize Leader Imperatives and success drivers to support individual development plan.

· Lead by example through developing a work environment exemplifying Ingredion’s core values.

· As process leader to participate in corporate process network and represent Shanghai plant to continuously absorb best practices from others, seek solutions for problems and share Shanghai team’s practices.

· Drive and embed Innovation and CI culture in Production team

· Bring passion and motivation across the team through good communication, support, recognition and rewards processes operating effectively.

Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements:

1. Qualifications – degree in chemical or engineering.

2. Experience – min. 2 years in working experience within a multinational company and manufacturing facility preferred.

3. Engineering & Process Knowledge – Experience & knowledge in chemical or food industry; Experience in process/engineering is a plus.

4. EHS Knowledge - EHS awareness and knowledge (Work Permit, LOTOTO, MOC, etc.)

5. GMP Knowledge - Good knowledge of GMP and Lean manufacturing, basic knowledge of GB food safety law and ISO9001/FSSC22000 system, etc.

6. PC Skills - Skills with PC software like Visio, Excel, Word and Project, etc.

7. Language skills - Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English.

8. Communication skills - Good communications skills, open mind and problem-solving skills.

9. Networking & influencing – comfortable and effective at communicating with multiple stakeholders at different levels to get “buy-in”.
