Job Description: Management of print development, from receipt of artwork, through to strike off and SMS, across all fabric bases within the Asian Region.

Travel: Occasional Travel within China is required.

Colour Ability: Must be able to pass colour blindness testing

Required Experience:

Higher Diploma qualification in Textiles

8-10 years working experience with a fabric supplier with in-house printing or print house

Strong technical knowledge of the print process from screen separation to bulk printing

Ability to problem solve on a technical level with suppliers

Experience across both knit and woven fabric bases

Colour Matching Experience

Experience working in a buying office preferred

Detail orientated and able to manage timelines closely

Must able to communicate with confidence in English and Mandarin

Job Responsibilities:

Manage the process of strike off development according to seasonal timelines

Review and assess new print designs

Assess suitability to fabric bases required

Feedback to NY in advance of limitations

Manage the strike off deliveries and approvals according to calendar

Manage daily system updates

Assess strike offs and problem solve with suppliers where needed

Feed back into NY on limitations and work on commercial approvals

Creating bulk standards

Data Analysis - Calculate the cost of development/ hit rates

Work on projects to improve process and save costs
