The position of Financial Services Manager for China Lubricant has the objectives to

？ Support Commercial Evaluation Manager to lead the development of control culture through design, implementation and monitoring of business controls and business processes, ensure business controls are consistent with Group/SPU requirements.
？ Evaluate and advise commercial decision, continually improve investment efficiency including trade loan, credit and working capital solutions for business growth.

The key roles and responsibilities will be as follows:
？ Support Commercial Evaluation Manager in establishing, maintaining and monitoring of effective and efficient financial controls within China Lubricant
？ Develop required policy and procedure
？ Standardize and/or automate control processes where possible
？ Ensure correct monitoring controls are in place, and these are performed on a timely basis
？ Lead implementation of control processes improvement
？ Ensure that business and functions are aware of the Minimum Control Expectations, and that these are being applied
？ Develop and continuously review, with Sales and Marketing, controls for Credit, Trade Loans, Sales Rebates; Advertising and Promotion and hand-out processes to ensure that these are effective and appropriate given their sensitivity, materiality and frequency.
？ Member of the BP Global Financial Services Management network, which is focused on ensuring compliance with relevant Group standards, for example Credit Standard.
？ Ensure all data integrity reports are reviewed on a timely basis; and where issues arise ensure that the Accounting team follows up on their resolution. Manage trade loan balance sheet and ensure balance sheet integrity, reconcile general ledger to balance sheet, working with GBS team
？ Review and approve trade investment, lead reviewing process of exit contracts /reporting on underperforming investments and follow up with field
？ Review, advise and approve non-standard contract trading term with customers
？ Other ad-hoc


Bachelor and above

？ At least 6 years finance experience including at least 3 years' experience on business control and audit
？ Able to lead projects and work across teams to deliver performance
？ In depth experience of accounting, business process and business control and risk management
？ Good business judgment in handling potentially sensitive control issues
？ Strong influencing, interpersonal and communication skills
？ Proven leadership experience
？ Fluent in English and Chinese, both spoken and written
