Role Summary/Purpose
Field roaming engineer (Day-to-Day):
• Technical Helpdesk for Regional Service / Claim management, incl. Structural Dispositions in Axapta
• Provide Service Technicians and LM subcontractors with appropriate support in terms of knowledge and experience regardless all type of onsite activities.

Essential Responsibilities
• Perform Blade Failure/Damage Inspections as part of RCA / 8D
• Prepare Technical Statements.
• Identifying and providing adequate training in any needed area to achieve final goal of the highest standard in HSE, quality and work performance compliance. Quality responsibilities:
• Make sure all Service Technicians and subcontractors are following LM quality standards
• Deliver onsite training and provide guidelines whenever needed
• Close cooperate with Field Service Engineers to evaluate findings
• Report any quality deviations and share with rest of the team.
Operational responsibilities:
• Monitor onsite performance and intervene whenever needed
• Improve onsite performance using own knowledge and experience.
• Share possible improvements and ideas with rest of the team
• Lead team on site to execute job.
• Share possible improvements and ideas with rest of the team
• Deal with customer complaint, explain technical questions
• Report any quality deviations and share with rest of the team.
On Service Manager request replace work in the field as one of the Service Team members
Tech Support • Drive the Technical Helpdesk for Regional Service / Claim management, incl. Structural Dispositions in Axapta.
Continuous Improvement • Drive “Best Practice” and Service Instruction P-FMEA’s with Regional Service and Global Process Engineering.
RCA/8D • Blade Failure Inspection and reporting (Internally and to Customers)
Continuous Improvement • Support Technical training of Regional Service Engineers
Optimize productivity and measure performance.
• Administrative routines and control of documents (Service Reports, site track sheets, etc.)
• Performing onsite Self Inspection Audits and appropriate evaluation of findings (including corrective action)
• Technical support to projects during execution
Qualifications/Requirements
Education • Engineering degree, Project Management training
External Experience • 5-10 years
Certifications • Turbine inspections/repairs/Mechanics
Internal LM trainings/qualifications • Field Claim Management training in:
Turbines, Blade Structures, RCA data collection for blades in operation
