职位描述
Main Responsibilities:
1. Calibration dataset development in-line with attribute targets
2. Execution of engine base calibration, following a calibration process (Air-charge and Torque model, knock control etc.)
3. Planning, executing and evaluation of measurements at test benches and in the vehicle.
4. Analysis of results and preparation of recommendations
5. Liaison and reporting to various functions within the organization
6. Understanding of Chinese GB Standards required for engine development
7. Self developing approach and provide training to colleagues
8. Representing the professional image of AVL at all times
9. Support of other activities within AVL as required.
Qualification:
Location: Shanghai
1. Bachelor degree or above, major in internal-combustion or Control systems
2. Minimum of 4 years’ experience in gasoline engine development and / or calibration
3. Calibration knowledge of torque, air-charge, knock control is preferred
4. Good understanding of engine physics, of the combustion process and the ability to optimize parameters for both fuel consumption and emission
5. Familiar with test bed systems, instrumentation, test bed testing methods and calibration procedures
6. Knowledge of data analysis tools such as AVL CONCERTO
or equivalent is an advantage
7. Knowledge of data acquisition tools (e.g. INCA, ATI, Vector)
8. Knowledge of HiL or virtual testing techniques and advantage
9. Understanding of Matlab / Simulink or other computer languages preferable
10. Understanding of worldwide vehicle emissions legislation an advantage
11. Good communication and presentation skills, both in Chinese and English
12. Good team player, self motivated.
