As a SCM Specialist-Casting, you will be part of the Industrial Automation Division and Business Unit Turbocharging (BU) based in Shanghai. ABB is the World leader in Industrial Automation (IA) division delivers integrated solutions for control, plant optimization, and industry-specific application knowledge and services to help process industry customers worldwide to meet their critical business needs in the areas of operational profitability, capital productivity, risk management and global responsibility. These industries include oil and gas, power, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, pulp and paper, metals, cement, minerals, marine and turbocharging.

As a SCM Specialist-Casting, you will be responsible for supplier overall performance to secure stable and reliable material supply for assigned category at best quality and at competitive costs, drive supplier development.

Your Tasks as a SCM Specialist-Casting will include the following:

？ Develop the LBU/Regional supplier network on the assigned category.
？ Understand business imperatives and develop category strategy to support business growth plan.
？ Define strategic goals, KPIs and implementation plan on the assigned category.
？ Drive the supplier qualification process and ensure the supply base is and remains fully qualified and compliant in cooperation with the Technical & Quality dept.
？ Plan and conduct, or ensure supplier assessments/audit, including assessment reporting and findings, verifies effective closure of assessment findings, by the supplier.
？ Develop and support suppliers to achieve ongoing conformance with ABB requirements and continual improvement in quality, delivery and cost
？ Design & implement plans for local sourcing to reach the business targets, supports local and global strategic sourcing initiatives as required.
？ Responsible for new part’s qualification process and on-time/on-quality release.
？ Responsible for local contract management and negotiation.
？ Responsible for consistent data in compass tool.
？ Apply standards on health, safety, environment and business ethics within operational work contract management and negotiation.
？ Build stable reliable and cost-effective material supply channel for assigned categories.
？ Establish effective and healthy long term strategic partner relationship with key/ major suppliers to improve supply flexibility.
？ Close cooperation with the corresponding functions in the BU headquarters.
？ Strong Leadership and initiative, good team work.
？ Take on additional responsibilities that may be assigned by the line manager from time to time.

？ University and above/ CPM&CPSM Qualification is a plus.
？ 5+years of relevant Working Experience in Iron Casting or Machining.
？ Strong Analytical, Mathematical, creative problem-solving and reporting skills along with Business Sense and Service Excellence Attitude.
？ Good Experience in Sourcing, and Quality Assurance.
？ Knowledge of the market and suppliers. Excellent negotiation skills.
？ Effective & transparent communication internally, externally and between different units.
？ Strong Leadership and initiative, good team work.
？ Able to combine the strategic thinking with tactical daily work.
？ Willing to work under high pressure.
？ Fluent in both English and Chinese.
