Position Title: Sales Manager or Engineer, Screw Pump (South China) Global Job Title: Territory Manager or Sales Representative-Senior

Location: Shang Hai or Guang Dong Reports To: Sales Director, Rotating Products (Greater China)

Position Summary:

The Sales Manager or Engineer is responsible for Promoting and selling PSG’s products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range, or list of customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for managing business development, sales growth to rapidly gain market share within the assigned China market.
  • Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.
  • Actively related to Marketing Communication for the region (Exhibitions, leaflets etc.).
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with staff in all functions and areas of the Business, inter sectional.
  • Refer sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization so that they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands.
  • Establish annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly sales plans and priorities and schedule own activities so these targets are met.
  • Maintains a focused business perspective by monitoring and staying current on regulatory, technological, economic, competitor, channel and application trends as these relate to the assigned territory to insure that new business opportunities are captured and existing business is maintained.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related majors.
  • Willing and able to travel extensively in China (> 50%) in support of the company sales objectives
  • 5+ years’ experience in pump solution market and/or related areas or equivalent experience, specifically in industrial markets
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts, architectures and designs, program strategies, and tactics clearly
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to establish mutually beneficial program commitments and expectations with customers
  • Passion for customer face time and have ability to close orders and satisfy customer needs both in the office environment and in the field.
