Role Summary/Purpose

Responsible for leading strategic projects; reporting and analyzing patterns.

Essential Responsibilities

• Managing all financial and controllership aspects of the Shared Service process. • Investigate compliance issues and escalate findings. • Leads the implementation of new process improvements. • Assist GE businesses to see the value of tools and resources available; coach and support use of process improvement tools/practices in the field. • Oversees the relationship with GE's outsourced service providers. • Drive process improvements through metrics and quality rigor. • Recognize and communicate recommendations for improvement within a process or practice based upon data information collected. • Act as a liaison of process improvement practices between GE businesses and Senior Management. • Leads the review, development and modifications of procedures and products. • Demonstrate leadership capability consistent with a team-based work environment. • Participates in the development of supplier requirements and Statements of Work (SOW). • Participates in internal audits and develop/ review corrective action plans. • Collaborates to define/review/ analyze system requirements for enhancements/ modifications

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Accounting or Finance. • 5+ years of relevant work experience in Finance, quality or process improvement. • Location is flexible in Asia

• Blackbelt/Greenbelt certified.• Demonstrated knowledge of accounting and reporting, month end/ quarter end close process. • Demonstrated ability to drive solutions to complex problems (change agent). • Demonstrated team player with collaborative and influencing skills. • Demonstrated ability to create operational guidelines and metrics to facilitate strong process performance. • Proven experience building positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. • Effective communication skills both written and verbal. • Strong interpersonal skills. • Proven ability to influence others. • Experience operating with multicultural and global operations in a fast-paced, changing environment. • Strong Computer Skills (Excel, PowerPoint and Word). • Proven project management experience.
