Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

− Develop Ultrasound flaw products software/firmware for NDT application. − Follow market/product specification and transfer to engineering spec. − Participate in technical design reviews to improve software quality and ensure that the correct design decisions have been made. − Interact with global teams to promote consistency and maximize synergies across common software platforms − Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers − Leveraging DFR for software, Agile and Lean software development methodologies to drive reliability upstream into the product development life cycle.

Qualifications/Requirements

− MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Software engineering, or related specialty. − At least 5 years working experience in software development on Embedded system.− Excellent programming skill with C/C++− Solid knowledge in Real-time OS, such as WinCE, Embedded Linux, QNX etc.− Familiarity with firmware, assembler and C, for microcontroller/DSP families including: ARM, PowerPC etc.− Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects− Good English skill, both written and oral; Handle global T-con skills− Experience on IAR/Keil/CCS− A proven fast learner, self-motived, willing to take challenges
