Quality Manager
Location
Jiangsu - Wuxi
Position Description
Responsible for the overall quality control aspects of raw materials, in-process and finished products. Sets quality standards and ensures compliance.
-Performance Data: Establishes initiates and monitors any Internal Control policies relating to quality performance initiatives. Develops and communicates quality performance data to all relevant plant personnel for correct action.
-ISO Procedures: Develops all procedures required for ISO 9001 certification and re-certification. Maintains all quality performance records and documents. Coordinates ISO visits with necessary staff and manages any corrective actions that occur as a result of the ISO inspection.
-Training: Creates and implements the technical training programs for SPC, ISO 9001 procedures and problems solving and/or Design of Experiments. Insures QA Engineers / Techs are conversant with all programs and can adequately train production or other engineering staff to processes.
-Quality Procedures: Plans, develops, initiates and monitors quality manufacturing techniques. Tracks financial results and reports on quantifiable goals and objectives.
-Equipment /Facilities: Acquire, develop and maintain physical facilities and equipment to achieve required results.
-Management: Develops and maintains a competent work force through recruitment, training, coaching and establishing goals and objectives.
-Other responsibilities as assigned or required.
Position Requirements
-6 - 8 years of quality assurance experience in machining/assembly facility with 2-5 years'experience in a supervisory capacity, managing Quality Assurance programs is required.
-Proven work experience in medical device is a must
-Strong problem solving skills.
-Must be able to work with staff at all levels of the organization to insure a quality product is produced.
-Proven leadership experience of 10-20 staff is an advantage
-Six Sigma certification preferred.
-Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, and Lotus Notes.
-Proficient in oral and written English
-A BS degree (or international equivalent) in Quality or related field, i.e., Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering required.
