职位描述
Job Responsibilities:
1. Lead all Supplier Quality activities in support of Minerals Sourcing Strategy, working closely with Sourcing Managers. Build relationship with the strategic suppliers, working with them as a key quality resource.
2. Coordinate supplier visits and assessments with assigned Commodities.
3. Provide expertise in quality and lean tools or methods to support supplier's continuous improvement efforts. Implement regional strategy to certify suppliers in quality skills, ensuring that they have demonstrated their ability to use tools and apply methods required by WEIR.
4. Work with suppliers to implement processes required to deliver quality product and services on-time at competitive cost& satisfied OTD performance.
5. Perform and train suppliers in various product testing requirements
6. Monitor measures of supplier performance and drive appropriate action.
7. Resolve problems to improve supplier process capability.
8. Coordinate supplier corrective actions.
Requirements:
1. Five years minimum Foundry experience with 2 years minimum specific experience in Supplier Quality.
2. Sound experience in machining.
3. Bachelor degree in engineering related background with solid foundry, casting, machining knowledge.
4. Knowledge of statistics, product development processes, QS9001, and preventive QE techniques (FMEA, Control Plans, flow diagrams, PPAP, QFD, DFM, DFA, SPC, metrology and gage R&R, GD&T).
5. Good problem solving, team work, communication, presentation, planning and organizational skills.
6. Excellent language skills in English and Chinese (written and verbal) and strong PC skills in Word, Excel, Assess, PowerPoint, and Project Management.
