Position Description

-Management of plant production and operations
-People management of 51 employees' headcount and with 9 direct reports (Process Manager, Production Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Engineering manager, Operations Administrator, EHS)
-Provide guidance, coaching advice to the team members on daily activities
-Ensure full compliance to the regulations, processes, rules of the safety, health and environment issues:
--ensure a safe place to work for employees and contracted people
--take preventive actions to avoid any accident
-Meet the daily production volumes targets for factory in compliance with the quality requirements:
-Meet audits requirements (meet certifications requirements such as HACCP, GMP, and BRC etc.)
--meet products specifications
-Provide assistance to sales and R&D departments in new product development process:
--make the trial
--adapt the production process
--execute change of process with new equipment if required
-Coordinate all departments (sales, CS, finance, HR, protection etc.) to reach the business targets of the site
-Control the factory costs: prepare and follow up the achievement of the budget:
--ensure proper capex
-Promote continuous improvement culture within the organization:
--follow up the continuous improvement projects initiated
-Ensure a proper organization development process:
--define the most accurate organization to meet the business needs
--recruit the talents to support it
--define training and development actions, programs
--ensure succession planning

Position Requirements

-Bachelor degree in Engineering
-Minimum 10 years of manufacturing experience including minimum 5 years of factory/plant management
-Knowledge or specific business understanding of Food industry is an advantage
-Experience with project management
-Customer oriented and Drive for excellence
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-Serious and trustworthy working attitude
-Experience with cultural differences of multinational / global company operating in China.
-Experience working in a matrix environment (reporting relationships, global vs. local requirements, working through peers and non-reporting line teams).
-Ability to interact with senior level management locally and globally.
-Good command of English in oral and writing communication
