We are currently looking for a senior Interior designer for a prestigious UK retail design agency:

Responsibilities

1. Participates in design strategy sessions and presentations, manages day to day design concept/ process consistent with the project’s program, budget and time constraints
2. Responds to input and changes to project parameters by developing alternative design and maintains concept continuity
3. May participate in client meetings and presentations, facilitates in project scheduling and produces graphic presentations and builds study models
4. Participates in concept design development activities, including adaptations, modifications and assisting other designers
5. Designs and documents interior plans, elevations, and details
6. Illustrates concept or design development ideas to the team through sketching or drawing
7. Works with intermediate and senior level staff to review work for design integrity, accuracy, clarity and quality
8. Assists with coordination and integration of fixture, furniture and equipment into designed environments as needed
9. Assists in space planning and programming activities
10. Documents information and maintains project records
11. Acts as liaison with client as needed

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related design field
2. 2+ years of experience as an interior designer
3. Experience with Retail projects preferred
4. Strong knowledge of the design process, including color and materials, furniture systems FF&E, and specifications
5. Ability to prioritize and concurrently service multiple projects
6. Experience with AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Photoshop is required
7. Experience with InDesign preferred
8. Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English
9. Good presentation skills
10. Effective problem solving and interpersonal skills and ability to interface with all clients and employees
11. Interacts well with other desciplines and clients in a manner that builds productive relationships
12. LEED accreditation preferred
