职位描述
Responsibilities:
Main duties are described as follows. Other duties may be assigned as scope and client requirements of the position will be analyzed on an ongoing basis.
-Manage client risk by developing product knowledge and understanding product history; synthesizing the information into a recommended action plan for product(s) through product life cycle;
-Manage the execution of risk mitigation plans ensuring timely and accurate delivery of investigations and assessments;
-Understand category business direction/need and support buying decisions by acting as the technical expert for business needs;
-Build intimate knowledge of products and manufacturing processes to ensure the accurate writing of Acceptance Criteria and add to the knowledge base of the CBM;
-Interpret technical reports to make recommendations to the client based on quality requirements;
-Educate and assist vendors navigate through the quality requirements and processes of clients;
-Facilitate corrective action plan building and implementation on behalf of client requirements; work with vendors to ensure that good practices are used to develop and implement corrective actions;
-Consult on disposition issues (recalls, complaint investigations, returns analysis, vendor improvement, etc.);
-Recognize and escalate process issues within the client's practice that can be improved;
-Work with and coordinate with overseas counterparts in both labs and consulting to create a seamless delivery of quality management, addressing the pertinent quality issues for all client operations.
Requirements:
Basic Requirement:
-B.S or above.
-CET 6 or above, fluent in spoken English, Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin). Ability to communicate in English to handle common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical standards.
-Rich knowledge on hard goods, textile, power tool or consumer electronics products
-Familiar with international testing standard, such as ASTM/AATCC /ISO/EN/ DIN/JIS, etc.
-Knowledge of ISO9000 and experience for vendor education (CAP follow up and verification).
-Basic knowledge in product testing and sample inspection.
-Excellent communication skill with client, vendor / factory and testing lab / inspection team.
-Min 5 years of related work experience in buying office, R&D, QA or laboratory.
Preferred Requirement:
-Familiar with North America, European, Japan, China product safety standard and regulation
-Familiar with Western culture, Experience working for Western retailer, importer or trading company
-Familiar with retailer sourcing process and QA
-Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups
Other skills and abilities:
-Basic General computer knowledge
-Good proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point
