职位描述
PURPOSE:
Responsible for the implementation, administration and ongoing maintenance of the event management system, the core business software for the event planning of Shenzhen World.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Acts as the key point of contact with the supplier of the event management software
- Work with the department heads to understand and compile the business process work flows which will be followed in establishing the event management system
- Responsible for working with the supplier to configure and implement the information specific to Shenzhen World for the effective utilization of the system by all team members
- Monitors the quality of the data being entered into the system by all users to ensure that accounts are not duplicated and that users are following the agreed business process in utilizing the system to manage the business of Shenzhen World
- Responsible for organizing and monitoring upgrades to the system
- Coordinate training of all staff in the use of the event management system both during start-up and as ongoing training for new staff and refresher training as required
- Assist in developing and compiling management reports for the Executive team to analyse the business on a monthly, quarterly & periodic basis
- Oversees event management software program to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive planning and scheduling of information flow
- Assists and implements system & business process engineering to ensure seamless delivery of service by internal departments and our official partners through the event management system
- Ensures efficient and accurate usage ofcomputerized event and venue management systemsfor all users in the venue
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
No direct supervision is required but position is required to provide strategic direction related to the event management system and to positively influence the use of the system by all team members.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Venue Management, Marketing or Business Management an asset
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field an asset
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Strong, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Good command of Chinese and English in writing and speaking a must
· Excellent problem solving and team building skills
· Ability to determine client event needs and design programs to meet or exceed those needs
· Proven ability to organize and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines
