Key Responsibilities:

1. Be responsible for customer satisfaction, own and manage customer facing activities. Ensure follow code of email/phone in daily communication with customer.

2. Ensure smooth execution of the whole shipment lifecycle, by taking ownership and working closely with customers/internal support groups through pro-active notification and resolution handling.

3. Ensure consistent service level delivery when in backup scenario.

4. Manage customer expectation, and timely escalate in case needed.

5. Understand and be familiar with local KPIs and the service levels agreed with customer/internal groups, contribute to achieve the set targets.

6. Proactively raise improvement areas and participate in improvement action.

7. Deliver the good service to the customer with Safmarine way- build relationships with customers; Gain an understanding for their business, service needs, drivers and desires.

8. Proactively seek for new business opportunities.

9. Follow up all after sell activity, and proactively ask for more volume.

10. Participate in project and system rollout.

11. Always comply with company procedure and regulatory requirements, including claim policy.

12. Understand company strategy, vision & mission.

13. Always behave in a manner consistent with company values.
