Job Description-Corporate Internal Auditor
Reporting to Internal Audit Manager, the Internal Auditor will execute internal audit assignments to support the Corporation's compliance efforts within financial and operational areas and assist the Corporation with ongoing management of risk and related analysis for Asia Pacific.
Main Responsibilities
1. Plan, organize and conduct internal auditing reviews under general supervision of Internal Audit Manager to add value and improve the operations of the Corporation and its subsidiaries in AP.
2. Design or assist in the design of audit program (including data mining and analysis) to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls
3. Review and analyze processes, procedures, transactions and evidence to identify control and processes weaknesses and propose value-added recommendations
4. Document and maintain appropriate work papers providing evidential support for the audit results and conclusion of the assignment
5. Prepare recommendations and conclusions on the procedures / areas reviewed culminated in an audit report.
6. Participate in process and internal control improvement initiatives
7. Develop and maintain respectful and effective communications and relationships with management and staff of areas under review
8. Perform any reviews or tasks as assigned by Internal Audit Management
Requirements
? BS/BA in accounting, finance, or related field
? Minimum 3 years of auditing, finance and accounting experience
? Big 4 Accounting Firm Working Experience preferred
? Strong knowledge of US and China GAAP essential
? CPA, CMA, CIA or CISA is preferred.
? Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin is essential
? Proficient in Excel, Word, Powerpoint and data analysis tools (e.g. ACL)
? 50% travel including domestic and international
? Strong communication and interpersonal skills
? Attention to detail with focus on quality and accuracy
? Ability to handle work autonomously
? Analytical thinking, problem-solving and analysis skills
? Act with a high level of flexibility
