Job Title: Senior GL Accountant
Responsibility:
?Assist to perform general accounting responsibility in INV/AP/GL modules within Peoplesoft General Ledger to ensure daily accounting transactions are in compliance with both US GAAP and local GAAP.
?Closely work with China and APAC finance team on month-end process, ensuring compliance with correct cut-off procedures.
?Handle CDS payments to intercompanies and external third parties with proper supporting documents
?Review P&L and do accurate accruals and adjustment monthly
?Prepare traffic allowance IIT document and make sure it can be settled before deadline
?Perform month-end close which includes reviewing and posting all inventory related journal entries
?Review inventory entries of ED and prepare amortization calculation sheet with operation team
?Analyze and maintain costs for main spareparts accurately through investigating history PO
?Work with logistic team to analysis inventory status and complete the stock related reports
?Responsible for inventory physical count at least once a year completely, verify and book inventory physical count difference in ERP system
?Follow up inventory control policies and investigate the variance, pass the result to manager for warning and management improved
Requirements:
University degree or equivalent in finance and accounting
CPA is a plus
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated strong customer service skills
Excellent written and oral in English is preferred
Good at using Windows Office Softwares, e.g. Windows Words, PPT, Exel and etc.
More than 3 years experience in general ledger accounting in line with both local and US GAAP
Good command of excel spreadsheet
ERP system experience required
Knowledge of the applicable Standard Operating Procedures
Strong planning, organizational and problem solving skills
Demonstrated a high degree of initiative and ability to work collaboratively
