Job Description:

As a DW/BI architect, the person should be proficient in BI technologies, like ETL, Reporting and Big Data.

Responsibility:

• Work with the client partners to provide BI solution and provide bidding support.
• Proactively propose solution (with cost / time estimation) to client IT or business users after understanding as-is business and architecture.
• Support project manager for project delivery.

Minimum Requirements:

· At least 8 years of hands-on experiences in BI projects. At least 3 years of architecture experience.

· Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts (fact, dimension, data model, star schema etc.).

· Big data technical background is preferred.

· Master at least one ETL tool (Informatica / DataStage / SSIS)

· Master at least one Big Data technology (Hadoop/Hortonworks/Spark/HIVE/Python)

· Ability to handle the entire pre-sales process

1. Follow up the pipeline opportunities

2. Communicate with clients to understand & collect user requirements

3. Propose solution

4. RFI / RFP response preparation and presentation

5. Project Estimation

· Industry exposure in any of the following verticals

1. Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical

2. Manufacturing, Logistics, Energy and Resources

3. Retail

4. Insurance

5. Banking and Financial services

· Good presentation and inter-personal skills working in a muti-cultural & global environment

· Professional team player with excellent communication skill

· Chinese national with good English communication capabilities.

· Location preference in Shanghai or Beijing and willingness to make short business travels within and outside of China
