职位描述

This position works with the Head of North Asia and Functional GM to drive all our commercial and partnership initiatives across the organization. This involves structuring growth plan for Business Development (BD) Team and Key Account Management (KAM) Team encompassing new-new and existing-new financial revenue streams working with all YCH Group stakeholders – internal and external - to ensure we leverage and maximize all opportunities. The role is responsible for continuing to build collaborative partnerships and alliances between the YCH Group and its stakeholders including government, authorities, like-minded organizations, sponsors, members and customers. It is also responsible for developing new commercial partnerships, new revenue streams and leveraging ALL YCH Group relationship to commercially benefit the organization. This role will cover the Greater China region and will involve leading its commercial team.

The purpose of this role is to

  • Bring together revenue producing teams and work collaboratively on behalf of the YCH Group to leverage all partner business opportunities with an outcome of increased revenue and longer term strategic partnerships
  • Develop existing and deliver new commercial relationships to the YCH Group
  • Work with the Functional GM to leverage current YCH Group stakeholders to broaden the reach, relevance and influence of the organization
  • Build a strategy around Sponsorship that ensures a balanced and solid platform for the future
  • Develop a sustainable and growing commercial strategy for any new avenues that will benefit YCH Group

Duties and Responsibilities- Business Planning

  • Issuing the direction and strategic initiatives to manage and drive the Company towards achieving a top tier contract logistics company in China
  • Develop and lead the development of an annual commercial plan which delivers key revenue target to the YCH Group- find and develop qualified leads
  • Work with executive management to define headcount requirements and organizational structure for commercial division
  • Create and define detailed sales metrics and forecasting for Commercial organization
  • Define business growth strategies and lead the Commercial team to generate businesses that meets with the Company’s target growth plans
  • Perform sales/management reporting as directed by Management including Opportunity Pipeline management activities
  • Develop and maintain a personal Pipeline of opportunities, as reflected within the CRM in addition to driving team pipeline
  • Direct project implementation together with operations for new customers and contracts until adequately anchored with key accounts department.
  • Lead the accounts sponsorship and commercial team’s strategic plans to support the overarching commercial plan.
  • Work across the organization identifying and developing potential partnership opportunities
  • Manage all commercial contractual processes with teams responsible
  • Manage the development and delivery of commercial benefits with teams responsible
  • Manage the Commercial department budget, staff, protocols, disciplines and processes
  • Development of tailored proposals and delivery of opportunities and presentations to potential clients.

Duties and Responsibilities- Team Management

  • Work closely with the Head of North Asia and Functional GM to build a strategic plan
  • Work with the Commercial departments team to deliver plans, revenues and opportunities
  • Manage the delivery of goods and services under the teams’ responsibility
  • Develop leveraging opportunities with partners via the teams for mutual benefit
  • Develop strong working relationships with all YCH Group departments to identify appropriate partners and commercial opportunities
  • Ensure that commercial benefits are delivered and leveraging opportunities realized
  • Develop the Commercial team on an ongoing basis, including but not limited to professional development, performance planning and management, etc.
  • Set an example for staff and colleagues in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational skills and work habits
  • Other duties as may reasonably be required.

Requirements:

  • Min Degree in Business/Supply Chain Management
  • Min 10 years of working experience in Contract logistic environment with 5 years supervisory experience in China
  • Mature and able to align department objective against company's objective
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
  • Bring in or drive to develop an external network within the industry
  • Strong business acumen – can develop understanding for behaviour and preferences within the industry
  • Strong interpersonal and communication/listening skills – ability to engage stakeholders, build buy-in and excitement, working in a matrix organisation
