About Household Care
Enzymes are proteins made up of amino-acids. Enzymes occur naturally everywhere, in your body and in nature. Enzymes act as a catalyst in a reaction, and in Novozymes we harvest these enzymes originating from nature to solve industrial problems. In Household Care, we use enzymes to remove stains, provide fabric care, remove leftover food from dishes. In household care, enzymes work as nature’s own intelligent scissors, they specifically target certain substrates and cut them up – which makes it easier to remove in a washing process.

About the Internship & Role
In China Household Care, we operate in 3 commercial functions; Sales, Technical Service and Marketing. For our large customers, we currently have a dedicated account team with an Account manager and an Industry Technology Specialist. In this internship, you will serve as the dedicated marketing person within this account team, reporting to the Marketing Manager, Sander Lerche Rasmussen (located in Shanghai)

This means that you will get to:

• Work closely within the account team to plan and drive current and new customer initiatives/projects
• Help drive the account plan and account strategy
• Engage with the customer; e.g. pitching enzyme solutions and discussing market insights & trends
• Conducting market and consumer research tailored for the customer and market situation

The internship will start from February/March 2018 as a part time position (expect 2 working days weekly), and then transition into a full-time internship for 3 months in the summer of 2018. Depending on timing, performance and other factors, there will be the potential to transition to permanent employment after graduation.

Are you a fit for the role?
We expect that you have a strong analytical mindset and skills, and that you have a strong personal drive and passionate about making things happen. Furthermore, you need to be structured and disciplined in your working approach and methods, and be good at communicating your ideas to a broad set of stakeholders.

Requirements for the role:

• Working attitude is absolute key.
• Master degree. The direction is less important, however an MBA (economics, business, marketing) or a degree within biology or chemistry is beneficial.
