JOB SUMMARY

The HRIS for workday is a liaison and business solution partner between business operations, HR management, and Information Technology. Fully understand all business processes, workstream and Workday value configuration as a Key User, drive HR Operational Excellence through optimization of existing processes,conduct business process analyses in an effort to align HR information technology solutions with business initiatives, while maintaining a high level of data integrity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  2. Operational owners of Workday and related applications (likely sitting regionally)
  3. Perform operational tasks within the Workday system (e.g. entering reqs, job codes, mass transactions etc.)
  4. Work with business leadership and Support Team Lead to prioritize support workload
  5. Interact with support team to pass on incidents and required changes
  6. Conduct user acceptance testing and provide relevant approvals
  7. Assist in developing requirements for Workday changes / enhancements
  8. Coordinate with other HR resources to develop system requirements and identify business needs
  9. Act as subject matter experts and as HR functional owners for the system
  10. Keep up to date on Workday functionality and training
  11. Assist (after initial Tier 0/1 attempt) in resolving User “How To” questions and help to create relevant job aids/learning/communications
  12. Identify areas for process improvement and sponsor improvement activities
  13. Provide input design simple Workday reports as needed
  14. Serve as initial customer support (Help Desk) for HR / Workday related items
  15. Attempt first call resolution using FAQs
  16. Log/Maintain tickets in ticket tracking system
  17. Route Tickets to appropriate resources in CoEs, BPOs, and other relevant areas
  18. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Functional knowledge of HR business processes and master data structures and how they relate to and incorporate into HR related business systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to creatively identify and solve problems, as well as propose system and process improvements.
  • Tier 1 issue Resolution.

  • Strong teamwork capabilities with experience in working within a matrix management environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and Powerpoint) and e-mail skills required.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  2. Bachelor's Degree
  3. 2 to 4 years ofwork-related experience required in Human Capital Management Systems or Human Resources function with working knowledge of the supporting HR Systems
  4. Working knowledge in Microsoft Excel, SuccessFactors, SAP HRor Workday is preferred.
  5. Demonstrated Project Management and customer interaction/service skills is preferred
  6. Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  2. Regular business hours. Some additional hours may be required.
  3. Travel requirements: Domestic and/or International, up to 10%.
  4. Climate controlled office environment during normal business hours.
