POSITION SUMMARY:
The Service Delivery Administrator’s role is to enable the delivery of a high-quality service to end users and ensure service delivery and support processes are in place to meet Dover business needs. The role helps to work with multi-functional IT teams to achieve those expectations to a high standard.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role will work closely with Service Delivery Manager(SDM), multi-functional IT teams and the Manager to provide IT services to Dover Corporation and its subsidiaries. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Act as a coordinator between SDM and local OpCo IT to monitor and support service delivery; ensuring systems, methodologies and procedures are in place and followed.
- Ensure the communication from the SDA to the SDM regarding situations affecting the OpCo.. Example: Provide feedback to SDM related to any concerns and/or large issues that affect DBS customers; requiring discussion with the OpCo IT Director.
- Work with SDM to provide and analysis regular and accurate reporting on IT service performance for regional team.
- Act as a coordinator working with multi-functional teams to assist regional manager to streamline and control the process as well as the continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to policies, procedures and best practices defined and governed by the Client Services functional tower.
- Act as a coordinator with COE and GSD team across the region to monitor and support incident escalation, resolution and problem management.
- Act as the secondary contact person with on-call service, participate and support the P1/P2 incident process by ensuring coordination of the resolving parties, communication to the affected OpCo management team(s).
- Work with the manager and CS team leaders to perform regular review overdue, backlog, in pause incidents
- Work with manager to consistently assess customer feedback and make recommendations for necessary improvement.
- Work with manager to host the service review meeting covering team performance, individual score, service improvements, quality and processes.
- May require after-hours support for IT related needs covering the whole regional team.
- Other various duties or responsibilities as assigned.
CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science (or related field of study).
- 3-5 years of IT work experience, preferably in manufacturing industry.
- ITIL is an imperative and A + Certification a plus.
- Ability to effectively execute tasks in a high-volume environment.
- Builds and manages relationships internally and externally.
- Able to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Is optimistic with a can-do attitude.
- Is honest, genuine and transparent.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, understands customers and their needs.
- Is fair and ethical toward others in all interactions.
- Customer service skills an asset.
- Language skill for oral and written English communications.
