Responsibilities:

• To lead product management team to make sure elevator/escalator electrical/electronic control products are continuously improved in regard to cost, technology, quality and sales targets;

• Establish an plan accordance to annual objective;

• Providing information of advanced technology to R&D team and participate in new development activities;

• Keep product documentation up to date, and provide training as needed to functional departments including sales and field;

• Participate training activities for acquiring technology and safety knowledge actively within or outside the company;

• Expert knowledge that extends across multiple disciplines;

• Design detail and implementation of elevator/escalator controllers, drives, fixtures, etc. Potentially includes component selection, wiring diagrams, etc.;

• General electrical/electronic engineering support, including conducting tests in test towers or jobsites;

• Develop the test plan for electrical components;

• Provide support to team members;

• Develop and coach others;

• Comply with EH&S requirements of Otis;

• Perform other duties as assigned and requested.

Qualification:

• Knowledge for electrical/electronic engineering, including drawing electrical wiring diagram, electrical component selection, drive application, etc;

• Familiar with electrical and safety related GB/EN/IEC/ISO standards;

• Familiar with EMC/EMI testing;

• Familiar with DFEMA and DOE;

• Analytical thinking to address technical and manufacturing related product quality issues;

• Solid understanding of key characteristics of components and parts selection process;

• Knowledge with basic software algorithm of power electronics;

• Cross-function work capability;

• Good interpersonal and communication skills;

• English skills for speaking, reading, comprehension and writing;

• Creative and open minded, hard-working and energetic, good team work and ethics;

• Electrical/Electronic Engineering related; Master with at least 2 years electrical/electronic design work experience; Bachelor with at least 4years electrical/electronic design work experience; At least 1 year work experience in global company. PCBA design experience is preferred.
