Job Title: Engineering Manager
Location: GATT - Tianjin

Job Description:
- Plans, directs and controls all engineering operations to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Leads multi-functional teams to resolve unusually complex engineering problems.
- Interprets, executes and manages company-wide division/unit-wide modifications to engineering policies and procedures.
- Represents organization as prime internal and external contact on matters of area of responsibility
- Creates policy deployment objectives and initiatives for multiple functions.
- Utilizes Policy Deployment Progress Reviews (PDPRs) to ensure conformance to organization's goal and initiatives and ensures timely completion.
- Held accountable for final decisions affecting group, company or corporate-wide engineering activities. This function often calls for the derivation and application of new or unique approaches.
- Provides technical guidance and leadership to subordinate engineers and is recognized as a subject matter expert (SME) in his area.


Requirement:
- An engineering degree and recognized standing in a specialized engineering field
- At least ten years of working experience in aerospace industry
- With good knowledge in composite aerospace structures & design for manufacture. Knowledge and experience of working in composite manufacturing would be beneficial.
- Strong background in lean manufacturing/continuous improvement.
- Must be able to learn the Goodrich Three Circles, assist in driving the Three Circles and ultimately, serving as a role model for the kind of culture Goodrich wants to create in all its sites world-wide.
- Must be able and willing to travel to and spend extended periods of time in other countries (primarily the US but also European countries) and other regions in China/South East Asia.
(Travel will be more extensive during start-up as the successful candidate will spend time in the US learning our processes and procedures.)
