职位描述

Role: Regional Coordinator

Overview

The Regional Coordinator is being sought to cover (Region / Sub Region) based in City, Country, in Nokia offices / JLL / remotely. He/she shall be an able practitioner and who will be have experience in project or program management, and international capital works. Reporting to the PMO (Project Management Office) / account lead and the Nokia regional Project Delivery Lead (PDL), he/she will be expected to manage the capital budget and delivery of capital projects through the region and report accordingly.

Job Description

The key objective of this role will be to provide support to the Nokia project delivery lead within the Transformation and Execution department and within the guidance and support of the global PMO.

The role is to:

· Assist the PDL in the capital project strategy and planning.

· Lead and provide oversight to all of the data and data control of regional projects.

· Guide project managers and ensure they deliver projects to specification, on time and in budget with the required data quality.

· Review and provide guidance on a robust scope, budget and program of projects.

· Responsibility to ensure that the PMs report accurately on the status of the project and project finances.

· Ensure that changes to scope or budget are reported on and managed accordingly.

This role does not:-

· Manage TE Projects directly (We hire PMs to do this)

· Manage Regionally Delivered Projects (These are delivered by the region or TE can hire a PM to do this if no local resource or capability)

· Regularly visit site, visits are mainly at the outset and possible closure, unless there is a specific and approved need (This is the PMs Role)

· Update project data on behalf of the Project Managers or Regional teams

Ensuring that a Project Coordinator keeps to high level Program Management keeps flexibility into the region and reduces the ongoing commitment to permanent full time resources. This flexibility gives us cover across regions to cover for leave, absence or busy periods.

The Project Coordinator will work closely with all functions in Nokia, including but not limited to the Transformation and Execution department, Health and Safety, Engineering, Sustainability, local Area Managers, Facility Managers and IT teams.

Ongoing Delivery Support

· Keep the project tracking tool accurate and up to date

· Assist with Client and service providers

· Assist the PMO, PDL and regional staff to establish and manage the Capital Plan

· Support Regional PDOs to ensure PMs provide weekly update on project status and budget with a detailed monthly report

· Support regional PDOs as a governance function.

· For allocated projects within the programme; support and prepare signed off Project Briefs (defined scope/ budget and schedule)

· Support in sourcing the appropriate in-country project management resources for the Client

· Monitor Project Delivery through reporting

· For allocated projects within the program; Point of Contact for project teams for project administration and project close out.

· Deliver Project Reviews, Change Control and Risk Management

· Implementation of client standards by in-country Project Managers

Process review

· Assist the PMO & PDL in the review and improvement in the internal process and reports

· Review and adjust existing reporting systems and ensure that regular reporting is completed.

· Ensure structured handover from S&P to TE organisation and close out of projects including documentation, handover to FM provider, etc.

Personal attributes

· Perceptive, self-motivated, collaborative and capable of working across the region through remote management skills, the Project Coordinator will effectively to provide an operational knowledge centre of exceptional quality. Demonstrable experience and an appropriate professional qualification are a preferred requirement.

· Excellent communication skills, and experienced in remote management

· Numerate

· International experience in capital works and/or programs with multiple projects

· English, both written and spoken, to a good technical standard. Other languages an advantage

· Educated to Degree in a business related function

· 3 years post-graduate experience in relevant field of operations
