Responsibility Level:


The Business Lead plays a crucial role within a driven, innovative Commercial IT team that is missioned to enable new business models and continuously add value to the China Aftermarket digital business organization. You have passion for all things digital and the role it plays to engage customers online throughout the entire journey: acquire, nurture, convert, and retain. You will provide subject matter expertise and team leadership to drive demand generation programs that drive growth for our businesses in eCommerce B2B platform. This individual is responsible for understanding complex processes and system integrations, support in designing elegant, documented solutions to those problems, and ensuring the final work product delivered satisfies the business objectives. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a desire to deeply understand the business opportunities and solutions, the technical landscape including all integrations, and the ability to dissect complex processes into clear actionable units.


Typical Duties:

Responsibilities:

o Champion OTO B2B digital technical roadmap and provide strategic consulting to business.

o Influence key stakeholders, team members and peers without direct hierarchical authority, to align and drive optimal technology solutions which meet business objectives and expected outcome in the areas of OTO B2B and National Accounts and the ability to deliver in minimum viable products

o Partner and work with stakeholders in order to gather and understand the high level objectives down to the fine details before accurately convert the functional and non-functional requirements that IT and others can act upon.

o Accountable for overall project success by ensuring the following tasks are executed by the team:

· Ensure successful project delivery by other functional IT solution delivery team.

· Ensure project timelines is followed and cost is within budget

· Integrate quality practices in all aspects of technology delivery; audit work products to ensure quality and sustainability

· Maintain appropriate documentation, traceability and configurations; follow record retention policies

o Guide 3rd party organizations in configuration, development and testing of changes, and internal team members in requirements definition and implementation.

o Support the governance model for enhancements to the commercial platform that supports the customers

o Responsible for the requirement understanding, solution design, development, and implementation of the end-to-end project solution. This includes creation of the detailed project design, functional specifications, test plans and deployment.

o Maintains awareness of related technology and system (e.g. Order Management System) process strengths, supported best practices and development release schedule to assist in defining future direction.

o Support the governance model for enhancements to the OMS that supports the customer - focused approach but ensures compliance to the business process management goals and objectives

o Monitor projects throughout all phases to ensure compliance to design standards, global template and to ensure that the designed solution matches the business requirements, alerting project and IT leadership when there are potential disconnects.


REQUIREMENTS:


Technology Focus (Preferred experience in one of the following):

o Strong passion to learn emerging technologies across the every changing landscape of mobility.

o Proven track record with industry leading companies utilizing strong problem solving and analytical skills to understand business challenges and opportunities in the context of the requirements.

o Experience working within teams using both waterfall and agile methodologies.

o Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate complex and technical concepts tailored to appropriate level based on audience, and the courage to ask compelling and clarifying questions to ensure accuracy and understanding.

o Driven to find creative solutions to complicated and unexpected problems by leveraging teammate experience and expertise.

o Proven success facilitating meetings that motivate the team, encourage participation, remain on topic, and generate expected outcomes.

o Self-starter with a positive attitude and ability to work under pressure in a challenging fast paced environment with tight deadlines. Balances team and individual responsibilities and contributes to building a positive team spirit.

o Excellent time management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments concurrently and deliver on commitments.

o Team Player. Loves being part of a team, both leading and serving; demonstrated deep commitment to colleagues; highly effective in a matrix environment

o Must possess a high degree of professional confidence and credibility, with the presence and communication skills to represent IT related concepts effectively with all levels of the business.

o Ability to translate business requirements into design options that are cost effective, efficient, re-usable that comply with defined architectural principles and standards and that enhance the business process.

o Must possess a high degree of professional confidence and credibility, with the presence and communication skills to represent IT related concepts effectively with all levels of the business.

o Strong experience in process improvement, with an emphasis towards analytics and process management through Lean, FMEA and Six Sigma tools.


Education:

o Bachelor’s degree in Business, CS, MIS or comparable field.

o 8+ years of work experience in business applications architecture/analysis/consulting or Digital product management, among which 5+ years of experience in a similar position.

o Experience in implementing at least 3 large-scale or complex IT/Digital projects.

o Experience with OMS products and implementation project is highly preferred, e.g. SAP Hybris, IBM Sterling and etc.

o Background from sales and order fulfillment sector of an established technology consulting firm is highly preferred.

o Ecommerce or other consumer goods industry background is preferred.

o PMI-PBA certificated candidate is preferred.

o Oral and written communication skills (English).
