Responsibilities:

The candidate will provide managerial leadership to ensure efficient operations and effective patient care and service in the OT suite. The candidate shall plan, develop and implement strategies and programmes to achieve the highest standards in clinical, operational, financial and service quality.

• Establish and develop strategies, short, medium and long term goals and action plans for development of the units and to support organisational goals
• Responsible and accountable for the quality of the total nursing process; e.g. planning, implementation, control and evaluation of patient care in the units
• Establish, develop and implement the structure and processes to support quality clinical practice, and performance measures against standards and benchmarks
• Plan and recruit skills required for professional and efficient operations of the unit
• Undertake performance management of staff by directing, motivating, developing and counselling staff where appropriate in their performance towards clinical and operational excellence
• Plan, manage and evaluate the unit’s budgets and financial performance and indicators
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Nursing
• At least 5 years of management experience in OT with demonstration of strong leadership ability in an acute care hospital
• Prior experience in the set up of hospital or medical facilities would be an advantage
• Willing to be based in Chongqing for 2 years
• Good communication in English and in Mandarin to communicate with the Chinese speaking associates
