Responsibilities

Quality

- Reinforce design robustness of the product to meet the project quality requirements:

- Improve usage and level of theoretical simulation.

- Realize and maintain the R&D project file.

Cost

- Manage the R&D project expenses in compliance with the project budget.

- Respect the R&D budget of the project:

-  Hours of Mechanical Design Office, Electronic Design Office,  Prototypes, Simulation (except in case of customer change request).

- Costs of the R&D change requests.

- Prototypes costs.

- Decrease cost of R&D change request.

- Avoid product change generating product cost increase (sourcing and assembly).

Timing

-  Optimize the detailed timing plan of the R&D activities by  respecting the project milestones, and specifically in being on-time for  the End-Of-Phase Reviews.

Motivation

- Implicate the R&D contributors in the project.

Others

-  Save nature resources, energy and paper & obey the EHS laws and  related requirements, implement the EHS regulations, procedures and work  instructions.

- Any task assigned by the manager according to actual situation/needs.

Requirements

- Proven record of experience in leading R&D projects 

- Excellent understanding & working knowledge on electronics

- Work experience with foreign company (corporate language English) 

- Experience in concept/product design

- Strong knowledge on design tools and software system

- University graduate with engineering background

- Self-driven, with strong entrepreneurship

- Inspiring and be able to motivate others. 

- Detailed, structured and pragmatic

- English proficiency
