1. Help supervisor renovate and update live stream classes for parents and students.
2. Update the content in existing English PPTs to meet the technological and pedagogical advancement of contemporary English language teaching.
3. Adjust existing English PPTs’ topics and content to meet the needs of young learners nowadays. Design courses that meet trends in the market.
4. Create new sessions specifically for important holidays (Chinese and international), events and trendy topics.
5. Cooperate with marketing department and teacher management team, schedule teachers and sessions on a monthly basis.

2. Help supervisor create content for social media.

1. Based on English language and pedagogical approach, provide theoretical framework and guidelines for social media content published for vipJr social media accounts on platforms such as WeChat, Weibo, Zhihu, etc.
2. Work closely with Social Media team at marketing department; create high-quality content on topics of English learning, English language, etc.
3. Related to heatedly discussed social topics and market trends, create innovative multi-media teaching content, such as short videos, audio clips on vocabulary learning, WeChat group maintenance, etc.

3. Help supervisor renovated and update recorded streamed classes for students.

1. Review and check the quality on all recorded streamed classes.
2. Collect and assess data on all recorded streamed classes to improve the quality and meet students’ needs.
3. Contact vipJr’s teachers and schedule time with them to re-record streamed classes.
4. Review and assess teachers’ quality for this specific teaching work.

4. Help supervisor proofread and update vipJr’s Dictionary

1. Proofread and update company’s dictionary for young learners with correct English definition and Chinese translation.
2. Collect and assess data on how to improve the quality of the dictionary.
3. Collect and assess data on all recorded streamed classes to improve the quality and meet students’ needs.

5. Other tasks assigned by vipJr curriculum material team.

1. Help co-workers with PPT and teachers’ guide creation when needed.
2. Help peer-review PPTs and teachers’ guides when needed.
3. Help give learning advice to young students when needed.

Requirements:

1. A strong sense of responsibility, passion for English teaching and the education industry
2. Being deadline-oriented, able to multi-task, and assure quality under high pressure
3. Ability to work in an English-speaking and multi-cultural working environment and to speak fluent English for daily communication at work
4. High proficiency in English course designing and English editing
5. Over 1 year experience in front-line English teaching
6. Mastery in Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, etc.
7. English and/or teaching-related education background preferred
8. Master’s degree preferred
9. Candidates with certification in teaching preferred
