Summary
Responsible for industrialization process of out-sourced components and supplier quality management

Responsibilities
-Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Parts Approval Process (PPAP)
-Responsible of root cause analysis of quality issues, implement corrective actions (8D, fish-bone, PDCA)
-Responsible of monitoring supplier quality performance and supplier continuous improvement projects
-Evaluate new suppliers; Participate supplier selection process
-Responsible of supplier audit, follow up and verify the corrective actions
-Suppliers training: quality tools and Komax quality requirements
-Responsible of setting up assembly SOP
-Internal reference point for issues related to material science

Skills and related experience
-Strong knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous materials (aluminum, stainless steel, etc), surface treating and heat treatment
-Strong knowledge of machining process (milling, lathe, grinding etc.) and sheet metal parts manufacturing process
-Familiar with quality management system, ISO9000 or TS16949 (APQP, PPAP, FEMA, CP, MSA, SPC, etc.)
-Knowledge of process control/process discipline, SPC, DOE methods
-Working knowledge of decision making or potential problem solving techniques. Familiar with 8D or CAR procedure
-Very strong communication skills with ability to concisely communicate key issues and concepts to people at a variety of levels.
-Curious, willing to learn
-Self starter who is able to satisfy their objectives and timelines with a minimal amount of supervision
-Ability to work in a team based environment and participate on a matrix project team
-Logical thinking and detail-oriented
-Travel requirements: within China, 70% of the time
-Major: Mechanical engineering, material engineering etc.
-PC Skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
