Accountability：

1. Maintaining & Enhancing Relationships

a. Identifying and evaluating a minimum of 15-30 KEEs in Key Academic Institutions affiliated and understanding the organizational structure and governance within the institution aligned with meeting scientific needs of the ACN Medical Strategy in assigned therapy area and location

b. Creating and implementing an Outcomes plan for each KEE which will be stored and/or communicated electronically with progress to goal reviewed quarterly.

2. Supporting the ACN Medical Strategies in the relevant Therapy Area (TA)

a. Identifying and communicating business and scientific market trends in the local healthcare environment and communicating insights from regular field interactions to appropriate internal stakeholders in the affiliate and region

b. Attending key national or regional scientific meetings and internal advisory boards as appropriate and reporting back key findings. Providing written report of findings to meeting coordinator.

c. Providing training support as assigned by manager (e.g., disease management, product info, journal club).

d. Identifying and recommending appropriate KEEs for participation in Astellas clinical studies, affiliate or regional speakers’ bureau and/or Advisory Boards.

3. Ensuring a knowledgeable environment

a. Presenting product research data to Hospital, Pharmacies and Government formulary committees and to provide hospital formulary listing support per request.

Discussing approved scientific information with KEEs regarding Astellas products and disease state management concepts as appropriate in regular in hospital or round table meetings.

b. Engage in scientific exchange with target group of scientific leaders (visits, presentations, delivery of medical information upon request etc.) to ensure all KEEs on the list are routinely updated as new information arises.

4. Advancing the body of scientific knowledge

a. Provide scientific input to real world evidence generated by KEEs to enhance the scientific knowledge and fill-in the gaps and unmet needs in specific therapeutic areas.

5. Committing to a learning objective

a. Taking initiative and proactively working toward learning new skills or enhancing skills.

Qualifications：

1. University graduates with Bachelor’s Degree and Major in Life and /or Health Science or Degree in appropriate biological science with clear relationship to human medicinal products.

2. Preferably with 2-5 years of working experience (0-2 Years for MSL & >3-5 Years for Senior MSL) in a pharmaceutical / healthcare industry as a medical science liaison (MSL) or relevant clinical experience.

3. Demonstrate high level of scientific expertise/competency in specific therapeutic area.

4. Strong scientific analytical and problem solving skills, strategic capabilities, project management, planning and organizational skills with excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.

5. Ability to collaborate and build strategic alignment within the Medical Affairs community and cross functions in a matrix environment.

6. Knowledge and strong understanding of and ability to comply with applicable industry laws and regulations.

7. Excellent verbal and written communications and presentation skills; fluent in written and verbal business English.

8. Outstanding interpersonal and networking skills.

9. Ability to travel 30-50% of the time including overnight travel.

10. Cross-cultural awareness.

11. Computer literacy.

12. People with Medical qualifications or PhD or similar advanced scientific degree in relevant Therapy Area(s).

13. People with prior medical affairs roles and experience in relevant therapy area.

14. Excellent strategic, analytical and presentation skills.

15. Ability to interpret , evaluate & present clinical data to internal and external stakeholders.

16. Ability to develop medical/scientific data into clear, teaching programs and presentations.

17. Customer focus and ability to work well within a team.

18. Sound communication and negotiation skills.

19. Able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
