As an Opex Manager/Black Belt, you will be part of the Industrial Automation Division and Turbocharging Business Units (BU) based in Chongqing. ABB is the World leader in Industrial Automation (IA) division delivers integrated solutions for control, plant optimization, and industry-specific application knowledge and services to help process industry customers worldwide to meet their critical business needs in the areas of operational profitability, capital productivity, risk management and global responsibility. These industries include oil and gas, power, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, pulp and paper, metals, cement, minerals, marine and turbocharging.

As an Opex Manager/Black Belt,, you will be responsible for leading and implementing business critical Lean Six Sigma projects throughout the Hub Business Unit and Local Product Groups.

Your Tasks as an Opex Manager/Black Belt, will include the following:

？ Strategy: Based on the BU and HBU Strategy, the 5 top quality issues, KPIs, customer feedback and OPEX targets, propose potential L6S projects to the HBU management team for approval. Support deployment of HBU strategy by leading business critical projects to improve the overall customer experience. Primary focus will be on quality improvement, lead time reduction, productivity/cost reduction and improving on-time delivery.

？ Communication: Communicate results to HBU Leadership. Escalate issues as they arise and work with necessary owners to develop countermeasures.

？ Mentor/Coach: Mentor and coach HBU Green Belt and Yellow Belt candidates. Support development of a pipeline of YB/GB team members able to drive business results. Lead training sessions as needed. Prepare GB/YB for certification.

？ Transfer knowledge: Capture, communicate and replicate successes and best practices across the BU and HBU. Drive standardization and consistency of approach.

？ Collaboration: Work effectively with other BB in the BU/HBU to standardize processes and develop best practices. Support the updating of training materials as required. Prepare Lean Six Sigma gate-review presentations and set up reviews with BU MBB and HBU management.

？ L6S Deployment and Organization: Lead L6S initiatives within the HBU, propose additional resources needed. Work with the BU MBB to develop World Class L6S Organization within the HBU.

？ Additional accountability: Member of HBU Management Team.

？ Track record of proven leadership skills and ability to influence others.
？ Excellent communication skills; verbal and written.
？ Strong analytical skills to deal with data & statistical analyses.
？ Strong character person capable to deal with all aspects of change management.
？ Able to work independently or in a group setting.
？ Very high level of structuring, self-motivated and self-organization.
？ Open mindedness and strong interpersonal skills.
？ Well-versed with Office software, Minitab and other statistical tools.
？ Extensive experience (5+ years) in both manufacturing and business environments.
？ 3+ years of experience with leading Lean or Six Sigma improvement projects or application of the associated tools.
