As a Quality Control Manager, you will be part of the Industrial Automation Division and Turbocharging Business Units (BU) based in Chongqing. ABB is the World leader in Industrial Automation (IA) division delivers integrated solutions for control, plant optimization, and industry-specific application knowledge and services to help process industry customers worldwide to meet their critical business needs in the areas of operational profitability, capital productivity, risk management and global responsibility. These industries include oil and gas, power, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, pulp and paper, metals, cement, minerals, marine and turbocharging.

As a Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for quality management in the value chain of Supply& Production from the material in to the product out.

Your Tasks as a Quality Control Manager will include the following:

1. Responsibility of the Quality Management in Supply & Production department:
a) Follow the Q-strategies from BU (BUPN strategy, quality / OpEx strategy PATU), coordinate with BU quality responsible and work in the implementation in local organization.
b) Support all sections in operation in the continuous improvement of processes, creation / update of process descriptions and guidelines and review it prior to release.
c) Moderating & coaching the process-related and improvement projects.
d) Define regulations and measures for quality assurance in operation and initiate corrective actions where required.
e) Establish and monitor "Quality Performance Indicators" periodically for operation.
f) Support the development and live "zero defect culture" in the operation.
g) Assist at internal and external audits
2. Responsibility of sustainable and cost-effective quality management:
a) Take measures to lower the poor-quality cost sustainably in operation.
b) Support quality improvement programs and lead quality projects in operation.
c) Takes Q-relevant aspects into supplier selection process. Supports the supplier development methodically and performs a corresponding controlling.
d) Responsible for Q-aspects of the supplier evaluation.
e) Coordination of Sustainability Audits for suppliers.
f) Assist in the implementation of risk management and lead controlling on the implementation of related measures.
3. Responsibility of development of the quality control teams:
a) Support the operation management team in terms of quality issues.
b) Continuous development of the employee's skills to improve their performance and apply the necessary resources to fulfill the task （including the direct and indirect reports).
c) Responsible for coaching the L6S projects within the flop 10 projects to improve the OTD and OQD.

？ BS/BA in Mechanical, Process, or Manufacturing Engineering.
？ Minimum 5 years of Experience in Supervising a team and the Experience of Quality Control in a Mechanical Manufacturing Environment.
？ Clear concept of Quality Assurance and Control, familiar with all related quality system and certification.
？ Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
？ Familiar in Computer literate, ERP systems is must.
