As Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Industrial Automation Division and Turbocharging Business Units (BU) based in Chongqing. ABB is the World leader in Industrial Automation (IA) division delivers integrated solutions for control, plant optimization, and industry-specific application knowledge and services to help process industry customers worldwide to meet their critical business needs in the areas of operational profitability, capital productivity, risk management and global responsibility. These industries include oil and gas, power, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, pulp and paper, metals, cement, minerals, marine and turbocharging.

As Quality Engineer, you will be responsible to collect, identify, analysis, communicate and report the supplier quality issues to SCM team, especially for casting parts. Plan and lead periodically supplier audit for quality and sustainability, support supplier on-boarding process as the representative from quality team. Follow up the corrective actions both from supplier audits and daily quality issues and to ensure the closing of them. Drive and support supplier quality improvement activities in Southwest of China.

Your Tasks as a Quality Engineer will include the following:

？ Daily collect and analysis the supplier quality issues found in JJ plant, to communicate and report to SCM team in time, organize corrective actions if needed.
？ Monthly supplier quality data analysis and report to SCM and Operation.
？ Organize monthly supplier quality meeting.
？ Join sample review meeting for casting parts.
？ Planning and lead annual supplier audit and prepare audit report, join supplier on-boarding process.
？ Follow up the closing of NCR in supplier audit and daily quality issues.
？ Drive and support supplier improvement process, guide and support suppliers build effective quality control process.
？ Provide inputs and suggestions for part quality standard to technical department in headcounter.

？ Degree or diploma in Foundry and or Mechanical Engineering.
？ ISO9001 / ISO 18001 /ISO14001 system internal audit certificate holder.
？ At least 5 years’ experience in the area of inspection or testing in a manufacturing environment. Familiar with processes and process improvements in Foundry technologies, background or experience in SQE is preferred.
？ Good cooperation, communication skills and ability to collaboration with different functions.
