We are seeking talented and motivated individuals for the role of database developer on a significant existing project. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of and experience with Financial Markets from a development perspective. They will be able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. They will be an eager learner willing to learn other tools is an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Very good attitude to learn faster and contribute

• Good team player to collaborate with other members and minimum of taking ownership of work assigned for timely and quality delivery

• Expected to work across application within our Finance and Risk Domain to setup, manage, administer, optimize, highly secure and troubleshoot

• End to End Change and Release management process knowledge and experience

• Design and Development PL/SQL programs

• Design and Development of Shell Scripts.

• Know about Oracle performance tuning.

• Know about Control-M Jobs

• Coordinate and Manage ST, SIT, UAT, OAT and PT

• Coordinate and Manage all the Implementation related processes and activities

• Maintaining and troubleshooting Environments with Control-M, Unix and data stage.

• Creates and updates unit test cases as required.

Role Expectations:

Database developer should be able to develop programs according to the requirement and will be able Write unit test cases to ensure that system solutions meet specified standards, requirements, performance metrics, and SLAs.

The developer should also participate requirement gathering and need to discuss with business stake holders about the requirement.

Should be able to analyze and fix existing production bugs in Level 2 support Team.

Required skills and experience:

• 2+ Years of database development experience

• 1+ Years Experience in UNIX operating system

• Good communication skills (both written and verbal).

• work well both as individual contributor and a team member

• Control-M skills preferred but not required.

• Data stage skills preferred but not required.

Good to have skills and experience:

• Experience in financial domain knowledge

The FMSD team of over 600 people is based across Singapore, London, Chennai, Dubai, New York and Hong Kong. From 2010, we are developing an FMSD team in Tianjin, China. It is a strategic move to build FMSD capability in Tianjin within next 5 years with below vision:
