Job summary:

Maersk Logistics & Services Technology Deployment is looking for business analyst to join the technology implementation Asia, which is a team located across Asia. The Technology Implementation Manager will be sitting between operations, implementation teams, program manager and the IT team. It is indeed, the first line of validation, understanding and effective drive of IT activities related with Customer Implementations

The Technology Implementation Manager requires deep knowledge and experience within SCM & 4PL business, and customer implementations, providing a strong understanding of the way business operates, translating it into IT requirements and later on, to implementation specifications.

                          

Key Responsibility:

• Liaise with technology implementation, Maersk L&S client management and Maersk L&S’s clients to define integration solutions that are in line with business rules as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures.
• Drive regional 4PL implementations
• Gather detailed requirements, design, develop, document, test and implement business processes, policies, programs, interfaces, and/or procedures to fulfil operational/IT requirements of both Maersk L&S & clients’ logistics programs.
• Establish and maintain Documentation to support applications
• Manage delivery with third party suppliers
• Design test scenarios with business partners that reflect ‘real-life’ situations. Document, arrange resources and execute appropriate test to reflect those scenarios and obtain sign-off from all parties prior to promotion to production.
• Support introduction of traditional Integration throughout EDI, but as well, with digital solutions and service enabled platforms

Qualifications and Skill:

• Strong understanding of Logistics/ 3pl business and mainly 4PL
• Good understanding of integration concepts like EDI
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies would be a good added value
• Good working knowledge of MS Office Products including Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Outlook
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is preferred
• Analytical skills with a high sense of detail
• Ability to think logically and structured in approach
• Highly developed interpersonal skills to engage and manage stakeholders at all levels
• Proficient in English and preferably one other European language
• As we operate on an European level please expect some travel up to 15%
