1. Position purpose

The position is responsible for the completion and maintenance of accounts payable and accounts receivable records and shall have the ability to adapt to handle competing priorities on a daily basis.

2. Responsibilities of this position

§ Check validity of supplier invoice w/o purchase order

§ Timely and accurately on invoice processing, payment settlement, local and oversea

§ Check authorization on bank payment voucher according to delegation authority

§ Following up all outstanding invoices including parked invoices periodically and making sure all problematic invoices to be fixed timely

§ AP/AR voucher posting in JDE, check journal entry for accuracy.

§ Filing all SR, PO, invoice and remittance to compile payment commitment register.

§ Chase all deposit and employee advance return, make sure the accuracy and timeliness of the entry clean.

§ Prepare all kinds of expense analysis and forecast spending trend, report operation accountant any cost control issue, proposed solution, and saving opportunities. Maintain and improve the database accordingly.

§ Comply with company finance, HR and office management policy to check all SR, PO and invoice etc.

§ Monitor bank accountant status and account balance, alarm any potential cash short, work with MASST accountant and headquarter accountant to make sure there are enough cash balance to support company operation.

§ In charge all kinds of communication with local bank.

§ Supervise cashier’s work, provide proper training and assess cashier s work performance.

§ Any other ad-hoc work assigned by Finance Manager.

Qualifications

§ Tertiary Qualifications in related area (Accounting or Finance).

Industry and Technical competency

§ Comprehensive understanding of Monadelphous/SinoStruct business and all facets of the Divisions operations, projects and services at both a strategic and operational level.

§ Understanding and knowledge of the engineering construction industry and market; the conditions, trends and competitors in the sectors in which SinoStruct operates.

§ Experience in a support role in an engineering construction environment or heavy industry

General skills, experience and knowledge

§ Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills, able to communicate effectively with Managers and staff at all levels and respond to their needs and requests.

§ Presents a professional image in representing the company externally and dealing with suppliers.

§ Excellent computer skills, able to use Word and Excel.

§ Written communication skills - able to prepare reports.

§ Is well organised, able to resolve problems and operate efficiently under pressure.
