Key Point: Willing to work at port/terminals; Japanese workable.

Purpose ( Why the position exists, within what limits and with what objectives Support all logistics quality matters for TJ RORO Terminals and RORO Stevedoring operations. Ensure that loading and discharge of NYK’s PCC vessels and Terminal handling at TIANJIN has good quality and accomplished zero damage with maximum efficiency Back up other Port Captains task under supervisor’s instruction.

Education/Experience - Japanese communication availability with basic business manner - (NOT absolute, but) Quality Control Education, Terminal or Marine Experience as well as Stevedoring experience.

Special knowledge Familiar with Vessel Operations and Port Captain work

Business understanding/Competency Japanese ( and English ), Communication, Judgment , Coordination, Coaching skill

Responsibilities:

1. Main contact person for logistics & quality matters for TJ RORO Terminal and Stevedoring operations(40%): Take part in regular Audits for Terminal, Stevedoring operations and VDC operations for TJ RORO. Work to put in place Kaizen projects and monitor. Work to help ensure that loading and discharge of NYK’s PCC vessels in Tianjin ports are accomplished with zero damage & maximum efficiency. Responsible for updating head office on regular basis about improvements.

2. Damage Prevention(40%): Arrange regular damage prevention meeting with Terminal operator, stevedores to continuously improve quality of export / import operations. Circulate minutes & provide data for the development of interventions to prevent damage occurrences in the future.

3. Provide technical advice(10%): Give technical support to company officers, shippers etc in relation to PCC and RORO cargo including bookings, cargo suitability, tracking and lashing etc

4. Various Quality Project(10%): Back up for other ports where necessary under Supervisor’s instruction.

Make new textbook that target is getting knowledge for RORO and Marine by English. Responsible for updating head office on regular basis about improvements.
