DBI Plastics seeks Regional Account Manager based in North China

DBI is growing across the globe. We develop protective solutions for all major players in the highly complex and competitive automotive industry as well as for major global machine and engineering customers. Globally we are 200 employees placed in Europe, US and China. We are a solid AAA rated company with 6 years in Shanghai, growing 40-60% each year

Role description
This role will play a central part in the company’s sales strategies under own responsibilities. You will work with some of the key global customers with decision makers primarily in the Asian region with a very high growth potential.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Generate and monitor the SKA strategy over 5 years, including milestones and action plans

- Proactive conduct SKA activities, at all times having a full overview on running progress, status, lead times, customer requirements, specifications etc.

- Grow the business by challenging the customers and establishing relationships through solution selling on a multiple point of entry.

- Report to relevant people positive or negative budget deviations

- Establish, analyze and revise prices according to company policy

- Conduct solution selling in a total cost of ownership approach

- Develop network and ensure constant communication with customers

- Make monthly report according to specifications for each SKA

- Provide a rolling 12 months budget and a 5 years outlook for each key account, based on a mapping of the business - Act according to DBI’s values and code of conduct - There are no people reporting to this role.

- Reporting to the Vice President Sales Asia

Qualifications and competencies: Education

Technical and/or business degree; Bachelor Degree

Languages: Chinese Mandarin (native) and English (fluently) Candidate should have more than 3-year successful experience with sales. This role requires a strong commercial mindset with hunger for results (Self-motivated, proactive, diligent and very result minded) Preferable experience from the automotive industry and/or fasteners and fixings or other industries.

Location and Travel
Working from Home Office North China (Beijing, Tianjin, Shenyang, Baoding).

Should travel nationally and internationally if required; monthly visit to Main Office based in Shanghai for Sales Meetings. Address: DBI Plastics Asia Pacific Co.
