Position Overview: Development and maintenance of quality procedures and qualifications as required by customer specifications and industry codes. Responsible for implementing quality plans for new or revised materials and/or products. Provide support and direction in the implementation and administration of quality systems. Analyze the effectiveness of the quality system and coordinate quality related issues with other departments, suppliers and customers.

Essential Job Functions:

• Quality Control and inspection of materials, components and products.
• Review and approval material reports, test reports.
• Generate and submit quality documents.
• Management and operation of precision equipment for measurement and test (such as CMM, etc.)
• Management of quality control systems and procedures.
• Develop and establish system procedures, inspection plans, quality performance trends, statistical plans, cost estimates and technical quality inputs to proposals.
• Lead material review board activities, failure analysis and initiate corrective/ preventative actions accordingly.
• Communicate customer, supplier and internal quality performance, trends and initiate corrective/ preventative actions accordingly.
• Perform internal product, process and procedure audits to assure compliance to specified quality requirements and assist in the planning and coordination of audit activities, schedules and reports.
• Support receiving, in-process and final inspection activities and/or personnel to ensure product quality.
• Perform internal audit, and follow up corrective actions.
• Generates training materials and programs as required, and conduct training sessions to support quality system.
• Perform other Quality Engineering related duties or functions as assigned.

Education Requirements:

· Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering or related field.

· 2-4 years’ experience as a quality engineer in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Other Skills/Abilities:

• Must be knowledgeable and experienced in ISO 9001:2015 quality management system requirements. Internal auditor of ISO9001:2015 is request.
• Knowledge of PED & ASME “V” and “UV” code preferred.
• Familiar with CMM operation, GD&T knowledge and applications
• Ability to create results through customer responsiveness and continuous process improvement. Lean/Six Sigma working knowledge and practical experience preferred.
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred.
• Ability to perform with minimum supervision and work effectively with others in a team environment.
• Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Manufacturing experience with casting, forging and machining preferred.
