Scope:

1. Ensuring the use of engineering specifications and procedures for the design team.

2. Manage resource to ensure the engineering deliverables on time and accuracy

3. Arrange Design Review and assess the risk for each project

4. Assure design targets from all points of view

5. Supervising all design engineering activities like 3D, 2D, systems,DVP, etc.

6. Highlight potential program risks from Design point of view

7. Will be knowledgeable on customer design requirements eg. design manuals, EED guidelines, SDS.

8. Lead team on the cost reduction activities

9. Act as interlocutor between design engineering & manufacturing

10. Lead team to support RFQ

11. Supporting the Program Manager in technical aspects of the project such as timing, APQP, etc.

Education:

1. Understanding of harness components (connectors, terminals, wire specifications)

2. Knowledge of harness routing and its physical requirements.

3. Knowledge of a typical automotive product development process, including specifics such as FMEA, DVP&R and PSW

4. Good English skill of communication both written and oral

5. Bachelor or high, major in Automotive Engineering, or relative major

6. To be aware of customer design requirements e.g. design manual, SDS etc.

Experience:

1. More than 9 years relative work experience, understanding of an automotive electrical and electronic distribution system

2. Ability to resolve problem alone, high creative mind

3. Good leadership and management skills
