Planner Responsibilities:

1. Maintain shipping/ production schedule to generate requirements for manufactured and purchased parts while ensuring desired inventory levels are maintained.

2. Release and track manufacturing orders.

3. Coordinate and communicate with Inside Sales, Production, Shipping, Purchasing Engineering, Quality and other business units as required.

4. Maintain inventory level.

5. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Purchasing responsibilities

1. Handle daily purchasing activities of assigned vendors in support of China and North American operations

2. Issue and forward purchase orders, obtain acknowledgements, update order status and coordinate shipping and deliveries

3. Communicate and resolve issues related to shipping documents, material and inspection reports, and invoicing, payments, etc.

4. Negotiate and maintain competitive shipping rates, arrange international shipments by ocean & air

5. Prepare and handle shipping documents, import and export procedures, coordinate and assist customs clearance

6. Communicate and coordinate with domestic and foreign vendors, customers and internal departments for goods pickup and shipping arrangements.

Requirements:

1. University degree in business, commerce, Engineering or other related disciplines

2. 2~3 years related working experience

3. Fluent in written and oral English, strong communication, interpersonal and mathematical skills

4. Excellent PC application knowledge, previous exposure to ERP systems a plus.
