Daniel Wellington was founded in 2011 and is one of the fastest growing watch companies with offices in Los Angeles, New York, Stockholm, Uppsala, Mumbai, Shenzhen and Hongkong. Daniel Wellington is an exciting work place in continuous movement and we are now looking for creative talents that can help us take our online operations to the next level. We work with the entire spectrum from monolithic systems to micro services. We work as a unit; developers, technicians, and testers all together. We release code ongoing, numerous times per day into production on several platforms. Our tech stack consists of; php, laravel, javascript, node.js, python, aws, ecs, lambda, docker, redis, varnish, nginx, apache, mysql, aurora, postgreql, dynamodb, jira, bamboo.

The automation of our systems and services is very important for us.

YOUR PROFILE

• We see it as a requirement that you have at least one year documented experience of PHP-development.
• We see it as an advantage with experience from JavaScript and frameworks like Node and Angular.
• We believe that you are a person who is genuinely interested in development and a fast learner. You see programming language as a tool for solving problems and you find it easy to retrain a new language when required.
• You are a problem solver by nature and you like to be faced with difficult technical challenges where you know you will always reach a solution – it’s just a matter of time and resources.

On a trip halfway across the world, founder Filip Tysander met an intriguing British gentleman with impeccable yet unpretentious style. The *** had a particular fondness for wearing his vintage watches on old, weathered NATO straps. Inspired by his new acquaintance, Filip created his own line of watches - minimalist and refined.
The ***’s name? Daniel Wellington.
