The Group:

Morningstar’s Research group provides independent analysis on individual securities, funds, markets, and portfolios. The Research group also provides data on hundreds of thousands of investment offerings, including stocks, mutual funds, and similar vehicles, along with real-time global market data on millions of equities, indexes, futures, options, commodities, and precious metals, in addition to foreign exchange and Treasury markets. Morningstar is one of the largest independent sources of fund, equity, and credit data and research in the world, and our advocacy for investors’ interests is the foundation of our company.

The Team:

SZ client response team is to provides data support for queries from global client services and Asia-Pacific data users and fund companies. Team’s goal is to ensure that data issues from client services or Asia-Pacific data users & fund companies are resolved in timely manner. To achieve it, the team need to monitor and diagnose the ticket or email queries, evaluate if it can be solved by the team directly or should be passed by to data level III team or product team. More importantly, the team should identify the trends of data cases submitted and come up with strategies to reduce the number of data issues submitted.

Responsibility:

·Investigate and triage the data queries from Asia Pacific data users and fund companies

·Solve data issues in timely manner or escalate the issue to related teams to ensure it is solved timely

·Communicate with the clients/fund companies and reply with fulfilled feedback

·Support for Asia-Pacific customized data process

·Work with related teams to analyze and identify data opportunities through issues and queries

Requirement:

·Strong problem identification, analysis and resolving skill

·Strong self-learning ability

·Strong communication skills & fluent English speaking

·Willingness to collaborate with global teams

·Basic knowledge on fund data and workflow

·Embrace change and challenge, quick adaptive to changing environment and uncertainty

·A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
