Core Responsibilities:

1) Assess and qualifies new suppliers (K1)

2) Works with Purchasing to manage Commodity Strategies and Supplier Selection (K1-K3)

3) Ensures all aspects of the supplier agreement are closed prior to the awarding of a new business (K2)

4) Ensures the supplier follows the K2 supplier development and advanced quality planning process through periodic detailed reviews with supplier program and plant management (K2)

5) Solves process and design problems with suppliers during development/pre-launch using effective problem solving techniques (K2)

6) Reports on the supplier development program status (K2)

7) Manages supplier part approval (PPAP) to completion – initially and with every engineering change (K2, K3)

8) Establishes quality targets with suppliers; monitors their performance in compari-son to these targets; coordinates supplier quality performance evaluation and work-shops (K2, K3)

9) Conducts audits (Traceability, Process or Product) in support of Benteler’s Target-ed Objective (K2/K3)

10) Works with given Problem/Focus Suppliers to improve Quality Performance and verifies the effectiveness of the actions (K3)

11) Manages “Crisis” Supplier through on-site involvement, effective communication and collaborative, method-based problem solving (K3)

12) Works with commodity buyers to identify and implement cost savings & VA/VE opportunities.

Requirement:

1. Be familiar with TS16949, experience of supplier audit.

2. At least 5 years in automotive industry, familiar with metal parts or investment cast-ing product is a plus.

3. Experience in APQP/PPAP/PFMEA/MSA/SPC and GD&T

4. Good at problem solving (8D, 5-WHY, etc.)

5. Fluent in oral/written English

6. Strong interpersonal communication skills, and conflict management.
