Purpose of the position and Key responsibility
As Tianjin Sales Manager, provides leadership to the leaders and/or professional staff in the team works independently within a broad framework, with a clear level of authority. Contributes ideas to sales team to develop business, optimize process, improve procedures. Solves complex challenges based on accurate identification of underlying factors/causes and is aware of the impact of proposed solutions outside their own immediate area. This position will be accountable for the team performance and results, and people development - coaching and mentoring to build organizational capability, talent and bench strength.
Specific responsibilities of the position:
? Formulate and execute a clear and effective sales strategy in Tianjin (Beijing is included) sales team and direction in line with the area and cluster Sales business plan
? Drive business growth and market share through engagement with the team and internal stakeholders. Ensure multi-functional alignment to client’s needs
? Drive overall performance management in Tianjin and Beijing sales teams and deliver target
? Support the global sales transformation and act as the role model; make joint sales calls with sales executives to ensure selling skills and techniques are mastered
? Build organizational capabilities and focused on building sales relationships between the company and clients
? Ensure comprehensive customer coverage; align sales efforts with the commercial strategy through close collaboration with Trade & Marketing and Customer Service
? Ensure Tianjin and Beijing Sales Team utilises and capitalises on SFDC
? Coach and inspire Tianjin and Beijing Sales Team to enhance performance, capabilities, knowledge and professionalism
- Coach, lead and develop direct reports and others, work closely with teams and individuals to identify and improve competency gaps and devise objectives and personal development plans.
- Attract and retain the right talents inside and outside of the organisation
- Exercise leadership and develop talent to ensure a sustainable leadership pipeline as well as the most effective and efficient team.
? Collaborate with other channels to ensue improved account and field coverage in PRN, right channel and approach for right customer
? Drive clear internal client ownership and individual target setting and performance management
? Other ad hoc tasks or focus assigned by supervisory

Key requirements for the position:(knowledge/skill/experience/leadership competency)
? Bachelor or same level degree
? Minimum 10 years’ experience in Sales or Commercial, preferably with at least 4 years’ in a leadership position.
? Ability to work in very complex environment
? Sense of urgency and be result oriented
? Extensive knowledge and understanding of the customers’ business coupled with supply chain and financial insights
? Strong knowledge of global trade, the local and international market landscape as well as industry trends
? Self-driven, results-oriented with a proven track record in sales and leadership
? Master negotiator; strong networking skills
? An inspirational leader with excellent coaching and people skills
? Fluent communication skills in written and spoken English
