Senior BI Developer

Responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements into potentially complex technical solutions that meet or exceed those business needs
• Design, develop, and maintain extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) routines for importing data from heterogeneous data sources into the data warehouse using SSIS packages and Informatica workflows.
• Optimize T-SQL code
• Optimizing and improving the Performance of existing ETL (Informatica), data warehouse and Business Intelligence applications
• Ensuring that the development of ETL, Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions follow the establish business process.  
• Ensure smooth functioning of our development, QA, staging and production ETL processes
• Document all ETL related work per company's methodology
• Maintain existing code and fix bugs whenever needed
• Be able to develop Ad-hoc data requests against Data Warehouse.

Requirements:

Education:  Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Technology

Experience: 

• 5+ Years SQL Server Developer experience is a MUST
• 2+ Years of Data Warehouse, ETL design and architecture experience
• Experience with large databases with high transaction volume in a fast-paced, production environment
• Experience in developing, tuning, managing, maintaining and administering reports
• Real-world experience in implementing large scale databases and data warehouses

Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong Relational and Data Warehouse design and implementation skills, with full understanding of the underlying fundamentals
• Strong in Informatica design and development
• Superb knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, RDBMS, and Cube Design
• Expert in SQL Coding
• Expert in Query Performance Tuning
• Excellent problem-solving skills, a self-starting attitude and good communication skills are essential.
• Expert in T-SQL language
• Strong Data Modeling Experience
• Knowledge in MicroStrategy is a plus
